Wonderful restaurant, lovely exterior and interior. Has some parking in front. This restaurant also has a lovely patio just to the side. The staff were extremely friendly. They went out of their way for our group to have a good time. The food was really good. We had the fries and an apple strudel with sauce. The fries/chips/frites had a wonderful seasoning on them. What Ivan Siegenthaler doesn't like about Hecht:
although the service was very nice, it was the purest catastrophe. at such "Zurich-Prizes" one also expects something for it. what I got was an salad that had neither seasoned nor tasted (the sauce smelled after milk) also the fish crispy (fr. 30 ) were hardly enjoyable (without supplement.) The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was super delicious on all my visits. The garden restaurant is very inviting in summer.
On the way through Pfäffikon I stopped at the Hecht restaurant, which is an inviting garden restaurant with lots of shade from the many trees. I ordered the pike perch with risotto and grilled vegetables, which tasted excellent and was prepared with great attention to detail. The likeable young chef then asked me personally whether everything was OK. The only suggestion for improvement is that the chairs are not very comfortable and not particularly stylish either. All in all a very good restaurant, I'll be back.
Finally we had time to have lunch at the Hecht again. It was wonderful
