Au Quatre - Pézenas

The food was excellent both times we have been there. The staff are very kind. Dessert is home made and perfect. Even the fruit salad is special. It's a small restaurant in a side street with tables each side of the very calm road, two doors from the Pezenas summer crowds. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food is the best value for money I had for long time. I am surprised they are nit charging double for what you get. The menu is short and well executed with a lit of love. The owners are very welcoming the place has got a lot of charm. Probably the best place to eat in Pezenas.

Most attentive and dedicated service, fantastic local cuisine and at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this restuarant to visitors.

Unfortunately we only discovered this restaurant on the last day of our stay in Pezenas and only then because the owner ventured past and kindly described the dishes on the menu for us. Au Quatre is an intimate, elegant little restaurant which was family owned and exceptionally well run. The food was superb particularly the duck, and the beef was the best we had in France. We ordered the menu of the day (3 courses for 19.50 euro) which with coffee and a bottle of excellent local wine came to 67.70 euro for 2 people. A bargain!

Lovely little restaurant with helpful and attentive staff. We went with a couple of friends and all had different dishes, all were delicious and we all agreed that the food was excellent value at €19 for 3 delicious courses. Also the gratuit caramel vodka shot at the end was a nice touch. Great that it's open all year round and also for most of the week too - we will definitely be back very soon.
