China Recipe
Description
Nestled in the neighborhood is a restaurant that has garnered mixed reviews. While some diners praise its generous portions and excellent service, others lament tough meats and inconsistent flavors. The dining experience can vary significantly, with prices ranging from $10 to $30 per person. Many customers appreciate the speedy takeout and friendly staff, yet several have encountered order inaccuracies that left them disappointed. Despite the criticisms, loyal patrons continue to recommend popular dishes like General Chicken and shrimp fried rice, making it a hopeful option for those seeking comforting Chinese cuisine in a casual setting.

You can tell the food is frozen and most likely expired. Take your chances if you must. I tried twice and stomach aches both times within an hr or so. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My husband and I have a joke about this place. It 's call China Recipe because it 's literally the one recipe. In all seriousness though, if you order orange-flavored chicken and the General Tao 's chicken, it is the same sauce, just different things added to it (like orange peels to the orange chicken). I also think it is just sweet and sour sauce, that 's it! So really no distinction between the two. The sesame chicken we ordered did have a distinct sauce, so at least that was different! The egg rolls were included free with our order with a coupon, but man they were GROSS. Instead of the crispy cabbage filling we 're used to, it was like mushy sauerkraut consistency. Not appetizing, but at least we didn 't pay for them! We ordered here because Bamboo Garden is closed on Tuesdays and we really wanted Chinese food, but it 's not our go-to. The reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of one is because the food wasn 't entirely bad (minus the egg rolls) and the portions were HUGE, so it was a good bargain for what you pay. We 've had our leftovers for lunch for the past two days and we 're still working through it! I hope they work on improving their recipes and maybe this could be our new place, but until then it 's better to hold out for Bamboo Garden.
