What J M doesn't like about Artisan 179:
Found a worm moving around in my salad after a few bites. My wife had a salad also and a side of fries. No worms in hers but only thing they did was offer a dessert and take my salad off the bill… Customer service crazy poor. No manager came out to apologize and didn’t offer to take anything else off. Just told the sweet waitress (who was obviously not at fault) to have to deal with it. Will not be going back. View all feedback.
Enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s dinner with my husband!! As always the dish I had(Barramundi) was amazing!! Full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and thoughtfully plated....beautiful colors and most important great flavors!! Ari was our server she was so kind, attentive and so was the rest of the staff!!!Thank you ARTISAN 179 for yet another perfect dining experience!!!!
Artisan is always our “Go To Place” for amazing food and quality service. The owner Ted not only treats his customers like family but also his staff which is why you always see the same wonderful people working there. The food is always consistently good and always changing but they keep the favorites!!! We went last night to see Sam who is one of the best bartenders/ people on his last night working which was very bittersweet. Ted had everyone get together for a champagne toast to Sam which again shows the Family atmosphere at Artisan and why we and so many others keep coming back!!! Best of luck to you Sam.... you will be dearly missed�
This restaurant was a real dining experience; Ted took excellent care of us and our server was attentive and on he mark! Now, the food was off the chain... We satvat a table where we could watch the boats and people on the lake; I will go back and highly recommend it.. try the califlower tempura... Amazing
I am a steak lover and for the first time forever I actually took the time to enjoy every indivdual bite a steak. The cook made a divine steak. Beginning with a wonderfully cut ribeye with perfect wonders at a perfectly balanced season. The demo glaze alone had a unique taste, but combined with the steak it was like a perfectly balanced subtle explosion of taste. Not often I run into a cook that can make a medium steak that literally melts in my mouth, but it has. There is no question that I will come back to Pewaukee for the next time.
The food is fanominal, the service is gold star. I highly recommend getting to the best of Lake Country and treating yourself to a simple snack or an elegant gourmet experience.
