Bistrot da Serra - Petrópolis

This is a quiet and nice restaurant located at araras, district of petropolis, the former brazilian royal city located one hour away drivng from Rio de janeiro. Nice ambient in front of a lake. They have iside and outside tables and the service is good. The food is french/international style served with nice presentation with tasty and fresh ingredients. Not very cheap nor recommended for toddlers and young kids altough its not forbidden.Good option if you are close to araras or Itaipava. You can bring your own wine bottle with a charge of R$ 50.00 as corkage fee.

We went to the Bistrot without knowing was a special wine tasting night and we had a positive impression of the restaurant. The service was perfect and they found a table for us, even without reservation for the night. The lamb with troufles was very good and the desert very special.
