We hired MJ's for an event in January this year to cater for over 140 hungry youth and young adults. They were extremely easy to communicate with through email, and on the day of the event, they went above and beyond by closing their shop to focus on our order. I would definitely recommend them.

Just had me first MJ's experience. My staff have been raving about your fish and chips, so I had to try it for myself and I must say Well Done! Fresh Fish, great chips and that batter is something else.

The fish and chips were excellent, especially the hoki and chips deal. However, there could have been more chips included in the serving.

I've eaten here a number of times now. I've tried burgers, a few different types of fish with chips, and some other items on their menu. It has all been excellent. My only slight negative was I got 3 potato scallops the other day, which tasted great, but the third one was a bit thicker, and could have done with being in the fryer another 30 seconds I'd say I'm not sure what the Burettou reviewer is on about, I find their servings to be generous for the price, I get a lot bigger fillets more chips for my money than other places I've visited, and I travel a lot. Their burgers are excellent value for money, you are flat out getting your mouth half way around them. I've seen similar size burgers over $15.The calamari strips are awesome, I get at least a half serve every visit....YUM! the chips always spot on, especially with their chicken salt! The service has been reasonably quick, a bit slower when they seemed to have a lot of orders, and I noticed a couple of times that they receive phone orders too, so if you're waiting only notice the people waiting in the shop and don't realise they are preparing phone orders, you might think you have waited a bit long. I find in busy shops, a half hour wait or so is pretty standard, because if they are good, they are busy. Oh, and as mentioned in other comments, Clean!! I don't think I have come across another takeaway that looks as clean as this one.......do the owners have OCD? lol just jokes I will be back every time I am in the area
