Le bistrot de la gare

Came over an inviting outdoor terrace and stayed at lunch. the food, service and price ratio was so that we decided to dinner the next night. we were not disappointed. in that we have recommended our meals more than a local good. restaurant we had gone in the night before. ps: do not miss out on the “omelette aux cèpes” if they ever offer on their special menu

10 days in France and it was the best lunch we had! we had the steak with truffles and it was to die.

We came by chance over this bistrot and were immediately attracted by its picturesque surroundings in an untouched bordelais weindorf. recently opened are both the outer and the inner areas of the edifice, depending on the weather equally attractive. we ate inside because the terrace was pretty drunk in early autumn. we sat in a cozy and interesting corner. we had asked the waiter for advice on a wein to accompany the chicken flour and his suggestion of a local lussac white from a few km away was the perfect choice, really nice. our vegan member was sufficient for (not as easy as they think) and was very happy with what was offered to him. all in all, a good and positive experience. we would recommend this as a good place to spend a lazy lunchtime.

I visited with my girlfriend when staying at the nearby Chateau de Mole and we had a very good meal. we ordered cote de boeuf which was excellent and cooked just as we wanted it to be. They had a good selection of wines from...the surrounding area as you would expect. Service was perfectly fine as well. Nice place to eat if you are staying close by. Total meal with wine was under €100 so good value.

Accueil fort sympathique. Mention particulière pour le chef et son second : excellente cuisine alliant recherche, saveur et présentation. Le tout fait maison !!Un cadre agréable. A goûter sans modération.
