We went this am for Breakfast. It was mine and my son's first time here. no wait to be seated and food came pretty quick. The waitress was very kind. My son had the Red Sox Pancakes, I had the Big Mac Omelette with home fries and my boyfriend had eggs and bacon. I got corn chowder to go and it was extremely yummy! I will be going back. What Jerry Freeman doesn't like about Quabbin Woods:
couple that came in right behind us got served, finished eating, paid and left before we received anything. Then one of our meals was completely cold. Won't be back. View all feedback.

Love this place. Nice small restaurant food is always excellent. I love the pancakes and home fries. Prices are great. 3 massive pancakes with berries for 10 bucks, yes please! ?
I 've been by before several times over the years heard good things have always wanted to try this restaurant, so I 'm glad we finally got a chance yesterday! (02/28/24) We went as a party of 3 for lunch. It looked not too busy, which I was happy about. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted by our waitress who was friendly polite, welcoming us to choose our own seats. We noticed how cozy quaint it looked as soon as we walked in. We also saw a board with listed specials. One of them was a roast pork meal, another chicken rice soup that I believe you could order with either a grilled cheese or tuna melt. They also had dessert choices listed including a coconut cake. We chose a comfy booth in front of the window. They also had tables with chairs or counter seating available. Our waitress passed out menus once we sat down took our beverage order. We all ordered coffee, which was served hot fresh. We were told that we could decide between breakfast or lunch. My fiancé I went with the soup/sandwich option. We asked for a bowl of the soup to share planned to split a grilled ham cheese on homemade herb bread. His cousin who dined with us ordered a breakfast which featured eggs, toast, hash, home fries. Our food came after a brief wait (not long at all) portions were plentiful. A few other customers came in during our stay, but it was close to closing time, so they didn 't get too many others. Some seemed like regulars I can see why! Our waitress was attentive sweet, making sure we had enough coffee during our lunch that we were satisfied with our meals. The food was excellent prices were very reasonable here. I loved the relaxed, laid back atmosphere that was nicely decorated for St. Patrick 's Day, amid Americana decor. We loved the overall experience look forward to returning. A hidden gem for sure! Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level/wheelchair accessible
A good place for a bite to eat for breakfast or lunch. The staff are very nice and prompt. Try the taco omelet and rosemary toast!
