The chef working the night shift is incredibly professional, and her cooking skills are truly impressive. I can understand why people stop here in the morning to grab a meal on their way to work. She is excellent at what she does, and the food was absolutely delicious! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Waffle House:
My son, his son, and I stopped here on our way back to Charlotte from New Jersey. The food was fantastic, and the two women on staff were exceptional. It was a much-needed break, and they made our experience even better. View all feedback.
I do not recommend this Waffle House, and I know that corporate would be appalled to know how it's being run. It was going on 1am, the restaurant was about half full, and upon entry we were not greeted, nor sat at a table. We were very hungry, so we found a table on our own, which had not been cleaned, but wasn't too bad. There was a menu there at the table, so we started looking at it, and a few minutes later one of the workers behind the counter said that someone would be with us in a minute. Our waitress was decent, took our order, and the food was delicious as always. However, I witnessed a few ladies come in, and they were never greeted or even acknowledged. They were looking at the two empty tables nearby, but they were dirty. They were looking around to try to get the attention of someone, but after a few minutes they left. I will say that all of the staff were actively working, including preparing to-go orders, but I don't think that excuses them from greeting customers and cleaning tables for them. I seriously doubt we'll be going to this location ever again.
I think we hit this place on a bad day. Unlike almost every other Waffle House we 've ever visited, this location had all the energy of a sloth daycare center. They were training a new employee who just wasn 't getting it. When we were finally served, the food was good. But by Waffle House standards, the whole experience was disappointing. Update 2/26/22: Things were much better this time around. Five stars. The new employee has found his role and service was much more efficient. I tried their breakfast sandwich melt for the first time and it was very good. My better half had a sausage, egg and cheese bowl. It was a generous portion that she couldn 't finish, even as good as it was. Update 8/21/2022: Another good food experience, but the dining room and parking lot were filled with sketchy characters using foul language in loud voices
They take too long to clean tables my food is taking forever to come. I ordered a Texas bacon cheesesteak and they didn’t put the steak in. They constantly butchered my order. Service is very slow, The workers keep chitchatting instead of working. The workers were also rude, we were waiting at the table the lady was so rude and told us to wait at the chairs instead of the table we were waiting for to be cleaned up we waited over 20 mins just to sit. This is Most terrible service I ever seen and I am visiting from NewYork.
I heard there were changes on the menu and they removed the steak they served before Kovid, but the food was great. Passed the steak with eggs, but enjoyed the grilled chicken with bacon sandwich and my daughter enjoyed their chocolate chip waffles.
My son, his son and I stayed on my way back to Charlotte from Jersey. The food was great, the two women who were on the staff were perfect. It was an urgent break. You made it even better.
