Ruby Tuesday - Petersburg

A typical chain restaurant. the salatable was great as usual. the bangin garnels were not worth it. the soft pulps are pretty good. Drinking was good. service was good. the kitchen sent frozen salad and sour looked with the fajitas, so we were not impressed. they put together a few desserts.

Not the best Ruby Tuesday's I have been to. The food was good, but the service was not so much. Our server disappeared on us for so long, I had to stop eating until I could find someone to refill our drinks. It could have been an off night, but usually the best staff work Friday nights. Definitely not on par with our store in Gloucester. Again, the food was good and the salad bar was well stocked.

Decided to try the 24.99 offer for two just after lunch 2.30ish. Not much going on in tables in the area we were seated most at the end of dinning. Waited over 15 mins for a drink offer that's along time whilst waiting. Well I think so esp when the georgous sun is beating through the window. Anyway patiently ask for our drinks thus another 10 mins go by. We finally order our tv advertised 24.98 for two selections.. The salad bar was Devine.. Well then the main meals come OMG!! A baked potato that had been in the microwave. And the worst piece of steak I have seen in a very long time.. Very scary the meat was inedible. The waitress even though ignored us for most of the time we spent saw me taking pics and came over and abruptly said what is the problem.. Literally what is the problem. I informed her very nicely that the food was inedible. She took it away. They did rectify bill and I paid a good tip for recognition. But service and food was dreadful. Do not put an offer out if you want to just empty your freezer of sub standard food..

Sorry to say but, my experience was not too pleasant. When we first got there our table was dirty, and we moved. Our waitress kept forgetting things we asked for extra sauce , extra lemons, refilling our drinks... if I ask for sweet tea, I expect it to be sweet. My friend waited so long for his sauce he had to have his food reheated. My grilled chicken tasted like it was cooked earlier and reheated because it was not hot and tough. Will be awhile before I return there.

The waitress was very nice and attentive. Service was great. The salad and however was not fresh. Brown and yellow broccoli and Brown in the lettuce. Biggest problem was the sun shinning in a window right in your face. The waitress wasn't able to pull the window shade because it was broken. This was a concern 2 months ago also. I met with 5 other ladies and was seated at the table facing the street with that same window shade broken. We will probably meet somewhere else the next time
