It's one of my favorite spots when we come to visit the area. Had one of the seafood platters. Fish, scallops, shrimp, crab cake, yams, and green. Got a side salad as well. My husband and I split the meal. It was plenty. Everything was very tasty. Only con, the greens were way to salty. High blood pressure runs in our community. Can not recommend them. OVERCHARGED AND NOT REFUNDED We paid $150 for 2 shrimp and grits and 1 chicken sandwich. Ordered takeout from website which doesn’t explain that it is connected to door dash. Went to pick up food and one entree was missing. MGR refused to refund or provide the missing entree that we already paid for. I will not be back. Extremely poor customer service! Very disappointed! We had dinner at Croakers Spot in Petersburg, VA and Kayla was our server! She was excellent! Service and food was top notch! Kayla is very knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu and made very personable suggestions based on her favorites as well. U would highly suggest Croaker Spot and ask for Kayla but the entire staff gets a shout out!!
I’m never the type to leave a review but this Restaurant exceeded all expectations I had for food! The crab cake dinner was EXCELLENT! My fiancée got the Cajun pasta which was amazing! Every side and dish was EXCEPTIONAL! The staff and service was also top tier! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Unique restaurant with a cool story and enjoyable food. The sides were great, but I was a little let down by the crab cakes. Hoping to try something new next time I'm there.
