I always kept meaning to try the Monaghan Cafe.....ever since I ate at Thurston's and accidentally posted my review as being the Monaghan (please ignore that pr... read more I always kept meaning to try the Monaghan Cafe.....ever since I ate at Thurston's and accidentally posted my review as being the Monaghan (please ignore that previous review of this cafe).Went for a late breakfast (all day breakfast.....well, at least until 2 when it closes). Nice looking place. Great original local art on the walls. Wish they didn't rely on a loud commercial radio station, however, to pollute their otherwise nice atmosphere. We both ordered the South Eastern Crepes with onion, green pepper, bacon, and a very nice melted cheese. It was fantastic! Really liked their potatoes too. Everything was nicely flavoured. The crepe crust was just right....very crisp. And the veggies were cooked just the right amount of time so the flavours were really enhanced. I plan to go back sometime and try one of their omelettes. Really good prices too. And the food came very quickly. But then....we were the only customers. Server very friendly.

Food is fresh and homemade on premises, right down to the ketchup. All day breakfast if preferred. I recommend that you support this local restaurant.

The homemade peanut butter, jam ketchup were amazing. Even though we were all full we just had to eat all of the toast with the pb j. We’ll be back to experience lunch soon.
