It’s incredibly delicious, and I can’t quite describe how the beef is seasoned each morning, but it’s fresh and truly something you need to experience for yourself. My words and photos don’t do it justice! I also ordered the frings, which were perfectly cooked to a golden crisp—bringing back memories of childhood with their natural flavor, reminiscent of classic chips and onion rings after so long. I will definitely return soon to bring my family along, and I hope the wonderful staff member I interacted with is there next time, as this has become my new favorite spot. Just a heads up, the Donna burger is quite filling, and it’s as large as it appears in photos, so I recommend the Plain Jane burger for those with smaller appetites. I didn’t try the poutine yet, but I’ll be sure to update once I do. The prices here are unbelievably reasonable for the quality of food you receive; it’s genuinely a bargain. Everything was spotless as well—clearly, the owner takes great pride in maintaining the establishment. I did notice there isn’t much seating nearby, but I won’t hold that against the restaurant (I have my own portable picnic table). Thank you for serving me and for the enjoyable conversation. I look forward to my next visit, and maybe even a few more after that!

We had the pulled pork on a bun and chicken strips with fries. The gravy was to die for, we couldn't believe it was vegan! Definitely would recommend this hidden gem, we can't wait to go back!

OMG I just ate donnas burger from lakefield and I had to stop in Burleigh falls to take a nap before I made it home to apsley, absolutely one of the best tastin... read more OMG I just ate donnas burger from lakefield and I had to stop in Burleigh falls to take a nap before I made it home to apsley, absolutely one of the best tasting burgers I have ever eaten in my life. the two handmade patties (which could be eaten as a meal on there own)are so well seasoned, are perfectly complimented by the thick cut slices of bacon, pemeal bacon, and two slices of real cheddar cheese. topped off with lettuce, tomato, onion and a sour dill pickle. if you live within a half days drive of here, and you haven't had a burger from donnas, your cheating yourself of one of the greatest burger experiences on the planet. thanks so much Donna, I have a new favorite place to come, my kids can't wait for me to bring them there after hearing about why I was late getting home from work yesterday as I slept away in Burleigh. it should come with a side of pillow.
