Daylight Diner - Peterborough

I went to this restaurant for breakfast with my family. The service was excellent and very friendly. It's a great place for kids too. We will definitely be coming back again.

I recently visited the Daylight Diner for the first time and I was not let down. The restaurant was clean and well-lit. I decided to try the eggs benedict and it did not disappoint - the portions were generous and the dish was delicious. The menu offers a variety of options to cater to everyone's tastes. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Watch as your food is prepared. The owner touches everything the cook prepares. While doing so he scratched his scalp and rubbed his face prior to putting bread in the toaster and putting fries on the plate. He never washed his hands. I mentioned what...More

Nice, clean diner with friendly staff. Good menu- something for everyone, all the classics! Friendly, capable servers. Fast, fresh, delicious food!

Me and my wife are fans of the diner food and we have been to many places in Peterborough and on Friday we decided to try a place one of our friends recommended called Daylight Diner. As soon as we walked in we were greeted like we were family of the owners(which to me a diner should have that family like atmosphere. We were seated and given our drinks within a few minutes our server Darcy came and gave us menus and gave us her take on what she felt was her favourite food there. I decided to order the hot beef dinner and my wife went with the turkey club. My dinner was delicious. The beef was very tendered and melt in your mouth with the gravy it was a piece of meaty heaven and the mashed potatoes and sliced carrot were cooked to perfection. During the meal the owner himself came up to our table and asked if we were enjoying our meal and briefly talked with us.(we shared some of our diner experiences with him). In a nut shell Daylight Diner is a great place to eat if your a Diner lover like myself. I recommend it to anyone.
