Went here to try the home cooked buffet. The roast beef was amazing. The sauce on the meatballs would have been the highlight of the meal. It seems like most of the customers were over 60.
On our way out of Peterborough, we stopped for lunch at the Carousel....our first time in this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, the menu and the value. The owner/host was most pleasant and friendly and did chat with customers. Being new, we knew nothing of the buffet so before we left, she gave us a tour of the other room and the lunch buffet. She asked if we would be back and we said we certainly would return. Very nice experience.
Driving through town at lunch time. We stopped at this place because there were lots of cars parked outside. The place looked a little dated but was clean. Lunch was good. Cold plate and BLT was no less than you would expect. Service was very good as well.
The Sunday brunch buffet at this restaurant is consistently the best. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It is clear that they take great pride in the quality of their offerings and service.
The food was incredible and the service was excellent.
