The Fox At Folksworth - Peterborough

We were searching for a restaurant we had never been to before and decided to try Fuchs at Folksworth. What an absolute gem! It’s a modern pub restaurant with a lovely boutique vibe. The bar area is beautiful, and there’s a spacious dining area with a cozy atmosphere. We visited on a fairly busy Saturday lunchtime but were seated quickly without a reservation, which was impressive. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of wonderful flavors. The prices match the quality of the meals, and we will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu.

We haven't visited the fuchs yet, but it was a nice day so we decided to go out of peterborough to take a place to lunch and see what we could find. the fuchs was a clear sound. it looks quite small and is peeled off from the outside so that the inner is an overshave. it seems to go on for miles! we were immediately shown on a seat at the window and handed over our menus. the selection of foods was good, and quite favorable. we had one main course and one dessert, and we were pretty crowded! I was particularly happy with my blackburger, which came in paper. that prevented my pet hat, a soggy burger. someone obviously thought about eating her! the service was good and we would definitely visit again.

Tucked away from the usual tourist spots, we discovered this hidden gem through the Michelin Guide. We enjoyed a lovely three-course lunch and relished every moment. It was a stunning escape with a boutique feel. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely fantastic. It was an exceptional experience that we will definitely revisit in the future!

Great food and exceptional service! I expected it to be really busy on Saturday night, but it actually wasn't. We only had to wait an hour for a nice table. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the menu was excellent with a wide variety of options. I’ll definitely come back with my partner!

Beautiful food- different flavours but not pretentious. Served quickly cleanly. Prices not extortionate, actually exceptional given the quality. Portion sizes great. Deffo recommend.
