The Fitzwilliam Arms - Peterborough

Some of the food is not too bad vegetables however over cooked and served cold I actually fought it was a salad to begin with shame As it is a very nice pub with friendly staff just need to improve on the food

Very disappointed to find that fizwilliam arms had no knowledge of our booking via OpenTable. They say this is not unusual and recommend further bookings through their own website. Kindly, though very busy,they found us a table

Very nice atmosphere food was fantastic service was quick and courteous overall a very nice experience

To be honest I’m not really sure why we come back here. I think it’s mainly because despite how terrible the service here is every time, the pub itself is actually a nice environment it’s cosy near the fire and the food isn’t bad There isn’t many places to choose from in Peterborough that are like that. The waitress on this occasion was very friendly, I have nothing bad to say about her manner, but as always they were so understaffed and the food ALWAYS takes ages to come out! Maybe it’s more to say about the kitchen staff. It was about an hour and minutes from ordering to getting our food and the place wasn’t risiculously busy. The food was nice so I can’t complain too much they just really need to work on the timing issues!!
