Been to The Farmers many times as I live locally. The food is usually excellent, however this time round standards appear to have dropped. Firstly the meat is carved so thin you can see through it and fewer slices given, leeks no longer served in cream, stuffing balls more like kids marbles and dry. Phoned at 12:30 for a table for 2, was seated at 12:50 upstairs, quiet and pleasant. Food good, tried all 3 meats on offer. Massive range of vegetables, very impressed. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely.
I absolutely love this place and the people who serve. They are so super friendly! I regularly attend most Fridays for 3-4hours to work. It is a great place to go if you work from home and want to get out! They have great WiFi connection and very affordable drinks!
Quiet and rather drab, the combination meant there was no atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Still, the bar staff were fast and friendly and prices seemed fairly reasonable. Didn't try the food, so no comment on that.
Fantastic choice of food! Lovely roast dinner. Brilliant service. Great atmosphere. Definitely be going again.
