What gillkaribu doesn't like about Ferry Meadows Cafe:
We stopped for a drink and ice cream before moving on to one of the nearby picnic tables. Service was a bit slow as they only had one cash point working but the staff were friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the café. Prices were reasonable I would go there again, View all feedback.
The new fit out looks really nice. The guys work really well always everytime we visit. We will visit soon.
Called in for lunch after a walk round Ferry Meadows.
Always pop in for coffee when that side of Ferry Meadows near the sailing lake very popular cafe and generally very busy. Very friendly staff and good meni.
Busy place, friendly service, but the food was a bit drab and not so tasty really. Don't expect too much and you're fine!
We are a family of four with a twelve year old and ten year old. We met up with friends with two children the same age as ours. Service in the cafe is slow. Long time queuing to place order and they delivered the food for the two families separately with a five minute wait in between, despite us placing the order together and asking for it to be served at the same time. When we mentioned this, the waitress explained that they had to split cooking the order in two due to the size of our group (eight people) although we were not told this when we paid.Children’s sausage and chips and chicken tenders and chips are very small portions. They cost £3.85 and only included the hot meal. Did not include a drink or small dessert. Not great value for the small portion size. It would have been nice to have the option to pay £5.95 to get a bigger portion for older children.Bacon sandwich was good.Cheese and ham toastie was average. Standard food for a park cafe.
