Embe is an Afro-Caribbean restaurant founded by chef Nick Rutta, who has 16 years of experience in this cuisine. He has crafted unique dishes using special sauces and a mix of African and Caribbean ingredients. The name "Embe" comes from the Swahili word for mango, a fruit that is prominent in his cooking. The restaurant combines soul food and soul music, with reggae and jazz playing often. Worth a visit, authentic food and surroundings. Friendly staff. Didn’t get chance to sample rum cocktails or desserts but sounded good
Had a lovely evening, staff were friendly. Food was excellent. My partner started with jerk chicken wings and then the curried goat..I had plaintains to start.Then the jerk chicken burger.would recommend a visit to Embe.great reggae music

I had a fantastic night out with 8 friends at this restaurant and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food and service. The Kukupaka Tanzanian dish I ordered was one of the best chicken dishes I have had in a long time. Great job!
The restaurant is fantastic, with delicious and authentic food served by friendly people. It has a laid-back atmosphere that reminded me of my time in the Caribbean. The rum punch was also delicious!
