We made a beautiful 6 miles bank holiday tour of the cross keys. the pub has a nice selection of 3 ales. the two I tried were in top condition. that was our fir... read more We made a beautiful 6 miles bank holiday tour of the cross keys. the pub has a nice selection of 3 ales. the two I tried were in top condition. that was our first and only eating out to help eat. the food was in order, and they had a vegan option from bankok bad boy spicy sweet red lentil kramb burger chips. it was certainly a good value with the discount, but also without price are reasonable. the pub had good Covid measures and we felt safe. we had the snuck to us that we arrived during a quiet time on the afternoon. the staff was friendly and friendly, including dogs recommended. the walk was also very nice from the book northamptonshire walks for all age groups.

I can recommend the steak and ale cake and steak and niere suet pudding. the team is very friendly and the service efficient. highly recommended.

Gre... read more Lovely place steeped in history. Loads of photos dating back to late 1800s to early 1900s. Rooms are fit for purpose. Beds comfortable. Breakfast 1st Class. Great value for money. A young in house chef produces excellent food. Had a sample of a beef hot pot he was preparing for the evening, flavour was excellent. Try a game of cheese and skittles a pub game I had never heard of, but after some research dates back many years. Highly recommend if your looking for some where to stay.
