Last year it has had extensive work expanding the outside area and on a sunny day it's... read more This is a very good pub on the River Nene in the centre of Peterborough. Last year it has had extensive work expanding the outside area and on a sunny day it's really the place to be if you want to enjoy the weather by the river with a drink or three. They have a large selection of drinks which is ever changing, particulary real ales, stouts and traditional ciders. Burgers and Pizza food options at certain times if you get a bit peckish not tried them yet so can't comment on quality. The place can get very busy but staffing levels are usually gauged correctly so they can deal with the increased demand without too much of a wait. Live music outside in summer and regular bands at the weekends. It has it all really.
