Boston Pizza - Petawawa

I was very disappointed with the pizza at this restaurant. The price was too high and it definitely did not meet my expectations for a pizza place. I should have gone to Dino's, as I know their pizza is top notch. Sorry for not choosing Dino's!

I ordered a shrimp appetizer and a full rack of ribs at this restaurant. The shrimp was served on soggy and old lettuce, with a spoiled taste hidden by the cajun seasoning. The ribs were served cold, and after returning them to be reheated, they tasted overboiled and lacked seasoning. They were the worst ribs I have ever had. To make matters worse, the server brought us the bill halfway through our meal, despite only politely asking to heat up the ribs. I was not given the chance to order dessert as I was already cashed out before finishing my meal. Overall, I would rate this experience 1 out of 5 and would strongly advise against dining here.

This Boston Pizza location offers fantastic food and excellent service. The menu is diverse enough to cater to all tastes, ensuring that everyone will find something they love. The staff is quick, efficient, and always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions about the menu.

We just went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday tonight. My oldest son was super excited to let them know it was his daddy's birthday and wanted to help sing to him. The waitress was just like oh happy birthday. Now I know they used to do a birthday dessert, which seems to be a thing of the past unfortunately. The waitress was understanding when we asked for them to put in the kids menus to come out early for them to cool down quicker so my husband and I could enjoy our hot meals. Their meals came with our appetizer which ended up working out very well so they had something to eat while we ate our appetizer and meals. I'm glad we tried the garlic parmesan fries and our boys enjoyed their chicken fingers and fries. Our meals were great as well. The waitress did check on us but not a whole lot she did get my husband a new drink as well. They were polite. However I realized when I got home they didn't even give us an option for my children's dessert and with two kids I kind of put it on the back of my mind. Now I'm not upset about the birthday dessert too much. I'm more upset that I didn't even get the chance to receive our children's dessert that was part of the kids menu I wasn't even asked if they wanted the ice cream or grab and go. Which we would have gladly taken their cookie for the two kids meals. Depending how this is rectified we may possibly come back or I will go elsewhere for future birthday dinners.Kid-friendliness: They were polite when interacting with us and smiled when our boys were being their excited selves. The service and atmosphere is great. The building is new and clean. The only issue with the food was the serving portion was fairly small. We got the platter for 3 people and honestly one person could dominate it all by themselves.
