Thai River - Petaluma

Among all the fantastic restaurants in Petaluma, this one is our top choice. The food is excellent!

The staff was delighted to serve me such wonderful food. After feeling let down by other Thai restaurants in Petaluma, I was warmly welcomed here with smiles and truly exceptional Thai cuisine.

This was the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had! I’m a huge fan of Pad Thai and Crab, so I was excited to try the Crab Pad Thai. Unfortunately, there was no actual crab in it. When I inquired about it, I was told that the crab was hidden within the strange scrambled egg topping. Additionally, there were hardly any vegetables or other ingredients—just noodles in sauce and a sprinkle of peanuts.

We all know that the price has risen for everything, that is understandable. Your own website says 11.95 for the pad Thai. On arrival, he'll pay me $16.95. That's a pretty big difference. Maybe they say something when the order is called via their menu price change? What made it even worse when I told him that he didn't even apologize, just said: we can't sell that.? I didn't have to buy it or write it, but it looked really good, lol, so I bought it amazingly, had no time to go elsewhere order. But I decided to write this, because it was by far the best Thai I?ve ever had. It was like false advertising on two levels: price and appearance of the plate. I just don't want to go back.

I?m SOOOOO bummed. This place is right down the street from us and I really wanted to love it. We ordered takeout and my yellow curry wasn?t cooked enough! The chicken was fine but the potatoes and carrots were hard and chewy. The pot stickers were so-so and the Thai iced tea just way too sweet. My husband really liked his drunken noodles so I gave them 3 stars. Maybe don?t order the minute they open so they have time to cook everything?
