The wife and I were in Chicago 2 years ago this summer, and we miss this little joint called Lucky Dog just outside of Downtown Chicago. It has the best Italian beef I 'd ever had ! We are so lucky to have a little slice of Chicago right here in Petaluma !!!
A taste of home, complete with great hot dogs and beef. We lived in the Chicago Area all our lives (16 months ago), so it was good to find a place that got it right. It was a long, long ride from East Bay, but we made it a day. Of course, this place was worth it, and we're coming back.
I'm here a few times now and come very out of the way to share the delicacies that are Roys Chicago Hot Dogs. As Chicago's locals, this is the place to go for an authentic Chicago experience. It feels like I'm going into a small hole in the wall of Maxwell St during the day. The blues flow and the food is amazing!
Growing up in NW Indiana I got lucky to enjoy the great food Chicago is famous for. By far this place is in one of the top places to get a Chicago style dog outside of Chicago.
