Pearl is our absolute favorite restaurant. Always. The food is incredible, interesting, beautiful and they often change the menu. The owners are fantastic people who have created an inviting experience for all. Pearl is a petaluma spider. We've been driving almost every weekend for five years. I can't recommend it very much. What Reyan Shokeh doesn't like about Pearl Petaluma:
Terrible. The food looked and tasted old. Had to cancel after making getting one of our 3 plates. The food was terrible. Got a little spoon of hummus and eggplant with a piece of bread for 25. The cup smelled like eggs. Utensils didn’t look clean. The jar of water they have had prints of water that was old. Not sanitary. Customer service was ok but n ver going back. Really cute local brunch place, food and drinks were excellent. Pets are also welcome at the outside seating area.
We stopped by for lunch the other day. The food was average and overpriced but the service was worse. I don’t know if other customers were regulars, but while this Asian woman probably the owner went around other tables smiling, asking them how everything was etc. we were completely ignored and neglected. She was very cold even while we were paying our bill. We were puzzled what we did that made us being so clearly unwelcome. We got her message, we will not go back.
Love this place. Great food. No tips, so price you see is what you pay plus $1 per person.Parking: Parking is tough so carpool if possible
Had thr shashuka which was delish! Server was friendly, helpful and competent. Seems pricey at first but then you read the menu and it says that all tips are included in the menu price
The brisket, the sanddabs, the cassoulet... All fantastic.
