Tucked away in Penngrove, this unassuming sushi spot serves beautifully presented nigiri and sashimi with speedy, attentive service. Thick-cut fish, reliable vegetarian options and well-executed rolls make it a welcomed local choice for families, dates and special occasions. The restaurant stays efficient even when packed, though some diners note a subtle frozen taste in fish, relatively high prices for specialty rolls, and styrofoam takeout containers. Overall, a solid neighborhood option for straightforward, well-presented sushi.
Its pretty good. i think the fish while not at all old or inedible had a subtly degraded taste (perhaps it had been frozen) but it was barely perceptible and the vegetarian sushi, prawns and goma tasted nice.
Not great is perhaps a small notch about grocery sushi, but at twice the price. A premium roll was $17 I gave 2 stars because the service was pleasant, but for restaurant sushi, I expected a lot more.

Solid place for some sushi. Not much offered in the Penngrove area so it?s nice to have this option, Went there for Father?s Day and they were packed. Good menu, only wish they had real crab.
