This is such a great dining experience. I love the patio and the excellent service. They are very attentive. We often get the catch of the day ceviche. The drinks are so good! The pisco sour is one of our favorites. So refreshing and Fresh! You cantell they use fresh and quality ingredients in their meal. Of course, they have a nice river view too. I would say this is thebest patio dining in Petaluma. View all feedback.
What Nuri O doesn't like about Ayawaska Petaluma:
Went there with 8 people last night. Place was almost empty. Waited 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks. Waiter was invisible, had to flag him down multiple times. We had to get our own place settings from other tables. Literally nobodypaid attention to us. However the food was good hence the 2 star review. They added a 20% tip. Good thing because there wouldhave been -0- tip from us. Would no go back... View all feedback.
I want to start this off by saying that Ayawaska has THE BEST cocktails in Petaluma! Absolutely none compare and they are so diverse in their cocktail menu. My husband and I also love their appetizers, they are always delicious. And again, very diverse! However, the main courses tends to be bland and I don?t feel they?re worth the price! With that being said, my husband and Istill loving coming to Ayawaska, but we always come for appetizers and drinks only! Check out these beautiful apps and drinksthey made us this time!
Really enjoyed this in downtown Petaluma! Fun atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area or passing through!
Every meal I’ve had here has been great. Expertly prepared, creative and delicious. Nice seating indoors or out with very helpful servers. Cocktails are also really excellent and creative. I highly recommend.
Great Peruvian restaurant with flavors true to Peruvian cuisine. Ample dining area, nice ambiance and a wonderful patio area. Our attendant was attentive and very cordial.I hosted friends from Chicago who will be traveling to Peru soon, so it was a nice preview of Peruvian cuisine before their trip there. We enjoyed and shared the following drinks and dishes:Maracuyá sour, a must, Chaman Sour, Ají de Gallina, Lomo Saltado mixto,Beef anticuchos,Alfajores with Lúcuma ice cream.Everything was delicious!!!Highly recommend visiting Ayawaska Resto Bar if you like to enjoy a true homage to Peruvian cuisine. They also own a second restaurant in Novato (Marin County)
Ate there Friday for dinner and was impressed though I still prefer Sazon in Santa Rosa.Very nice large clean space, surprising empty for a Friday evening, friendly and attentive staff.Portions seemed quite large so, sadly, no appetizers but all of the entrees were very good as were the (expensive) cocktails. The appetizers being priced about the same as entrees was a bit odd and kept us from trying more dishes. We had four different entrees among the four of us and all were very good, I had the Lomo Saltado, two others had different pork dishes and my wife had the traditional stew.No room for dessert.Would love to have tried some of the ceviche and other seafood dishes, maybe next time.A bit on the pricey side.Worth a visit but perhaps share an appetizer and an entree.
