Thosai Cafe - Petaling Jaya

Awesome Thosai loved all the varieties.. Good option for vegetarian people.

I was fascinated by the fact that they were 70 different thosais on the menu. the description says they serve vegan options, but when we told them we were vegan, they had no idea what that was. No eggs, no milk, no cheese, no ghee, no butter explain, and then he wanted to put our thosai in the window and I said no, it was there that he was. to be honest, the portions felt too small for the price. the mysore masala was quite tasty, but the other one lacked taste. the chutney was mediocre. very hot, as the stall is outside, although we sat in front of the ventilator. the staff was very nice and friendly.

It’s so flavourful. Almost bordering salty but it’s just nice. Portion is good and the taste makes me keep coming back for more. You have to try the Chinese noodle tosai.

To eat. it was perfect! did not know what to choose, so the owner cooked what he wanted and it was perfect! he even cooked vegan desserts for us (thosai with chocolate) and made us pay less than the vegetarian version. really honest! we paid less than rm34 for 2 persons (2 thosai and 2 desserts) totally recommended.
