Thosai Cafe - Petaling Jaya

It’s so flavourful. Almost bordering salty but it’s just nice. Portion is good and the taste makes me keep coming back for more. You have to try the Chinese noodle tosai.

Went there for dinner. It was perfect!! Didn't know what to choose so the owner cooked what he wanted to and it was perfect!!He even cooked vegan desserts for us (thosai with chocolate) and made us pay less than the vegetarian version. Really honest! We paid less than RM34 for 2 people (2 thosai and 2 desserts) Totally recommend.

I was intrigued by the fact they had 70 different thosais on the menu. The description says they serve vegan options but when we told them we were vegan, they had no idea what that was. Had to explain no eggs, no milk, no cheese, no ghee, no butter. And then he wanted to put paneer in our thosai and I said no, no, that's cheese. He insisted it wasn't cheese and told me it's milk. And then I had to remind him that we don't want milk either. To be absolutely honest, the portions felt too small for the price. The mysore masala was quite delicious but the other one was lacking in flavour. The chutney was mediocre. Quite hot as the stall is outdoor even though we were sitting in front of the fan. The staff were very nice and courteous though.
