Ward's - Petal

Ward's used to be a spot I loved to share with friends visiting from out of state, insisting they try the Big One because the chili is incredible. However, the Petal location seems to have lost its charm; everything feels dull and lifeless now. When you order a large drink, you just get a cup filled to the brim with ice—it's clear that ice is cheaper than soda. The manager there doesn't seem to care about the customers, only the profit. I really hope this place can reclaim its spirit.

I had a wonderful experience with very delicious food and friendly staff. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the prices were quite reasonable, between $1 and $10. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. I highly recommend the Gravy Biscuit Combo with Hashbrowns, the Chili Cheese Dog, and the Big One Combo. There's plenty of parking available, and it's all free.
