We entered in this restaurant just by chance while walking in the port area. All the tables outside were occupied so we were offered a table inside. There was not air conditioning but some fans. Inside was simple but pleasant. The titolate was a super nice person, very friendly and attentive. The service, in general, was very very nice. Our dishes were fantastic. What Gioacchino Villa doesn't like about Mosquito:
In our second dinner, we spent almost 25 Euro/person. It is too much in our view, because most of us had either a simple starter or a pasta. In detail: being 6 people, we ordered 2 spaghetti con vongole (clams), 3 gratinato di pesce (different kinds of seafood, grilled with oil and ground bread),1 canocchie (squills) and 2 fried seafood courses. The canocchie were almost tasteless; I love canocchie and I know they ar... View all feedback.

After more than one year, we came back to Mosquito, this time having a better idea of what 's worth the price. And we were not disappointed. Specifically, we recommend grande antipasto (large set of different starters) and ravioli alla cernia (pasta, stuffed with fish and served in a fish sauce). Grilled fish was good, even if nothing to scream about. 70 Euros for 1 grande antipasto, 1 passatelli, 1 ravioli alla cernia and one grigliata (grilled fish). In nearby places you can spend less, but you 'd not easily find the same quality

The canocchie were almost tasteless; I love canocchie and I know they are usually tasty, even when simply boiled. All the other items were good, including the wine. A few days before, there were just two of us and we spent about the same per person; but then we had their special, large starter which was worth its price of 20 Euro
