Osteria Il Gufo - PERUGIA

We went as a group of about 30. The setting was marvelous. The dishes were extra large, couldnt finish all. Altho it was hard to serve a big group the service was quite good. I would like to return to il paiolo and try their other dishes.

For all visitors to Perugia: this restaurant is delicious, cozy, and affordable. Their pizza is delicious, as are their other dishes. The staff is helpful and engaging, and can even speak some English. As an american living here, and it is one of my favorites. It is definitely worth a visit. Even if it isn't on an obvious street, it is right in the center of Perugia!

I had the seafood degustation menu and it was great. 3 appetizers, 1 pasta, 1 main Service was attentive but they speak minimal English. There is no wifi in this cave environment. All for 30 euros with wine and water.

Fantastic food that rewards eyes (very nicely presented), tongue (tasting delicious) and belly (huge portions) after the appetizer we could not finish the main. Waiters are reverent, attentive and friendly.

We were impressed by the food and careful service. Food is delicious and looks amazing. we had pasta with seafood, beef tartar and fist tartar. Prices are reasonable and portions big enough. I would try the same place for some other dishes:
