Nevertheless this restaurant attracted the likes of Sg. Angelli who would come up from Torino to eat here. There are two rooms. The front room and the back room both equally attractive, but on our visit the front room was packed (and noisy) while the back room, half the size, was not (and quite). However the service was all centered on the busy front room and so the delivery of food and wine was far below the standards one would expect. Guess I'm trying to forgive the poor service as the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The wine list was extensive, mostly with local wines but then again Piemonte is the home of some of Italy's best. The wine prices were extremely reasonable. If you can find this place try it!

When I got there the reception looked irritated and said I had no booking yet I had booked at 9:30 am an... read more I had hoped to enjoy a new restaurant and booked early. When I got there the reception looked irritated and said I had no booking yet I had booked at 9:30 am and been told it was confirmed. Yet they had no record. They tried to put me at a table where the icy wind from outside would make the evening and dinner very unpleasant then tried to put me at a bar seat. There was no recognition that I had done due diligence and booked a table and it was confirmed. I went home and had to cook myself a dinner. Will avoid this restaurant in future. They can't seem to honour their commitments.
