It's a nice close little spot for me, the sweets are very nice and the staff are lovely but I keep making the mistake of getting savoury food when I'm there, it's quite bland and they constantly toast things when I specifically ask them not to. View all feedback.

read moreLe Papillon is a charming French-style cafe that has gained a loyal following in the local area. While the coffee may not be top-tier, the atmosphere and freshly made croissants are highlights. The owners are known for their friendliness and engaging with customers, making it a welcoming spot for a quick bite and a delicious cup of coffee. The baked goods and cakes are particularly recommended, with the apple and custard croissant being a standout. While some of the other sweets may be hit or miss, the consistent quality of the tarts and croissants make this cafe a favorite for many. The food offerings, while slightly lacking in seasoning at times, are still enjoyable. Overall, Le Papillon is a quaint and inviting cafe that is worth a visit for those looking for a cozy spot to enjoy French-inspired treats and friendly service.
