I'm talking about when most of Perth wasn't open on a Sunday,... read more When I was young (a long time ago!) this HJ's was certainly the place to visit in the Perth CBD. I'm talking about when most of Perth wasn't open on a Sunday, just a few fast food outlets (such as this) and the Hoyts cinema. The northern rail line was not built yet, and the Mitchell freeway stopped at Warwick. Maybe only twice a year you took a bus to the city to see a movie, along with visiting this Hungry Jacks as a treat for us children. In more modern times, it has just become another fast food outlet. To me it's older architecture brings back many great memories, although the food isn't any better or worse than any other Hungry Jacks it will always hold a special place in my heart. Rarely I rate a restaurants feel over its food or service, this one is definitely one of those exceptions.
