What Adella Howe dislikes about Fromage Artisans:
Interesting little spot! Cheese selection was great- that's what they're about! I wish they had a little bit more selection of tapas to have with the cheese, but that's their thing really. Amazing you can come and get some wine to go with some cheese. View all feedback.

A great new spot with a focus on good cheese and drinks - two of my favourite things! I came here with a girlfriend on a Wednesday evening and it was not
I believe that this company is removing reviews on YelpI have had my review removed twice now as have others I work with.
No acknowledgement from the staff (and a lot of them were available) walking around us, serving and dressing others table near us.
Very polished, polite service but the food menu was small. You can get a la carte cheese and there's about 12 - 15 to choose from but I think they specialize in pairing cheese with various types of booze. We went for lunch and we had the TEN cheese toastie for $11 and served with a spicy chutney. It was very good. I'd definitely categorize Fromage Artisans as more of a bar than an eatery.
No acknowledgement from the staff (and a lot of them were available) walking around us, serving and dressing others table near us.... After being ignored for the last 20 minutes (a wednesday) we decided to ask the waitress, who were dressing the table right next to us, if we need to order our food by ourselves to the bar, she said "No, but wait I finish to prepare this table"..., we wait and nothing. As we were apparently not welcomed at all, we decided to leave and went to an other restaurant instead. Shame on you for your customer service.

Great place to have some cheese and wine after dinner or an event in the city. Really enjoyed the white wine flight and the truffle cheese they could offer. We also had the rum tasting with matching cheeses which was also really good. Would definitely come back here.
One of my favourite places for lunch in the CBD, particularly in summer as it's always lovely and cool. The knockebrod (sp? was excellent and my friend enjoyed the pulled pork. Not pictured but always worthwhile is the decadent ten cheese toastie. Recently visited and had a bubbles flight 4 cheeses with paired bubbles including a sparkling rose and cider and this was amazing.
Delicious menu and great service. We enjoyed the Gold Plate tasting platter, the Baked Camembert and the Pulled Pork along with some wine. They also accommodated for gluten free. So good!!! Glad we booked ahead as it is very busy and walk ins were being turned away. Be prepared it's noisy! Our table was a bar height table with stools which I found to be very uncomfortable to sit at but we were not able to move to a regular table as it was so busy it certainly affected the length of our stay. Next time I'll be sure to request a low table with more comfortable seats. All in all though, a really nice night out with my besties and I'd definitely return.
Lots of creativities with cheeses. Love the wine and cheese pairing menus and also using cheese into dessert. Great place for cheese beginner like me to explore.
Lovely basement location. It's a cheese journey dining at Frontage. Excellent customer service and if the menu is too much for you to decide, the lovely wait staff have excellent reccomend and wine pairing suggestions. I had a cheese platter called The Spanish red flight which was a selection of four cheeses each paired with a wine. My husband had a ten cheese toastie which was full of cheesy goodness. There is also a cheese vault where you can buy which cheese you want. Lovely place and the owners were a delight and very helpful.
