Balthazar has been an institution in perth for many years, so it was not a surprise when my sister here wanted her birthday dinner. my father ordered the duck (he does this for years) and I agree that it must be pink, but not so raw that he could not cut it with a steak knife!!! the chef should never leave it. they did not instruct us on the meal and the waiting staff was nice, but I will not be back for one because. Not if there are so many other great restaurants in perth now.

The wine list is full of delightful surprises, and their sommelier really knows his stuff. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a special night out. Plus, it's surprisingly good value for fine dining. Don't miss out—go and enjoy!

The staff were attentive and impressive, making my experience truly memorable. The food was of high quality, and the fantastic wine list was the perfect complement. I would highly recommend this place—it's one of Perth's best-kept secrets! I would have tipped the staff if I had been given the opportunity. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!
