Adelphi Grill
Description
Adelphi Restaurant offers a romantic and classy atmosphere perfect for dates, with plush furnishings and dim lighting. However, the food does not quite match the ambiance. Reviews mention the sizzling prawns being overcooked and tough, and the salad bar offered as part of the main course being just okay. The steak sandwich and mixed grill received better feedback, with well-cooked meat and crispy fries. Service is consistently polite, but the overall consensus is that there are better dining options in Perth for the prices charged. Despite mixed reviews on the food quality and value, Adelphi has maintained its reputation for attentive service and a nice breakfast selection. Regulars admire the juicy steaks and well-curated salad bar, even if the restaurant has lost some of its original charm since moving locations. Overall, while some may find Adelphi to be a shadow of its former self, others continue to praise the food, service, and overall dining experience.

A great CBD spot with great $20 lunch deals including a drink. I came here initially upon their invitation after their renovations and had so many great tastings that I had to come back. Staff are really lovely and the food is excellent but we did have trouble getting staff attention after sitting down and ordering but this is nothing new for Perth. It was a nice touch to get a plate of ketchup and aioli as standard with lunch for the table, and my house Shiraz was also great. They have a lovely selection of drinks and the interior is very nice, especially for groups. My wagyu burger with bacon and cheese was nice, as were the chips. I enjoyed this spot and would come back!
Adelphi has lost a of its charm and ironically quality, since its refurbishment and move upstairs from is original location. Once arguably the best steakhouse in Perth - character filled with a great range of quality steaks, doppelgänger Cheers bar and a terrific salad station - resides a soulless hotel restaurant, a shadow of its former self. The menu seems to have grown smaller as has the salad bar and while the whimsical mural has been brought up from its original underground location, not much more of what made this place special has.
Had a work get together here for a morning buffet breakfast and was highly impressed. There was a vast range of foods from your standard bacon, eggs, sausages through to pastries and DIY juice making. We talked a big game about how much food we were going to eat but again, eyes were bigger than the bellies and we had a large feast and left full to the brim
Best service I have ever received! The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was cooked perfectly and the price was wonderful, $29 Steak and chips with salad bar (Sat and Sun special) followed by a $10 trio of divine desserts and washed down with a $3.90 seemingly bottomless teapot of tea! The promptness and politeness of the staff are what made the experience for me as a solo diner perfect. Thank you to the amazing staff!
