Queens Head Inn - Perth (Tasmania)

Had a great steak with vegies at the pub. Meals from 6pm. Service is very quick. I would class portion sizes on the generous side so you get heaps of food. Nice gas heater in lounge to keep you warm. Can play Keno while having a meal if you wish.

Visited the Queens Head Inn with my son last Thursday night.To our great surprise Thursday night is a steak and chips specials night. There was a rump steak with chips for $10!! Add $2 for a yummy sauce and $5 for a bowl of very tasty salad. The steak was cooked to perfection, the sauce, salad and chips extra yummy. All for $17. That's a great deal for a great steak. I'll definitely be back!!

Called into this pub. Was told it hasn't done meals for 2 years. So if you want a beer it's ok but that's it. Looked like it had a stage out the back so maybe they have the odd band here?

We have had dinner now at this establishment 3 times. Each time the meals have been enormous - can never finish the full meal and cannot complain about anything. Always wonderful fresh veggies and they also have "specials" like lambs fry and bacon - which was wonderful. Their seafood basket is huge. Steak was done to perfection - absolutely wonderful mid range dinner.

Stopped here with the family on the road from hobart to launceston. The meals were great - rissoles were a real home cooked treat with load's of vegetables and the roast was a winner with the hungry driver.
