We have just returned from a two night stay in this fantastic family run hotel. We were a family of and stayed in the cottages. From we arrived to our departure the staff could not do enough for us. . The accommodation was excellent,...rooms spotless and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order with all ingredients freshly sourced. We had dinner on both nights. Fish and chips, steaks and angus burgers all... View all feedback.
What Beth Hunter doesn't like about Comrie:
The lentil soup had a good texture, but lacked seasoning and was only lukewarm. The sandwich was average. The service was friendly and helpful, and overall there were no major issues, but the food could be improved. View all feedback.
We had an absolutely fantastic weekend with family at this restaurant. Despite the less than ideal weather, the service and meals more than made up for it. The food was top-notch, with high-quality, homemade dishes that were both delicious and plentiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was very clean and took necessary Covid safety precautions seriously. Everyone in our group agreed that we would definitely return, so we have already booked rooms for next year. A huge thank you to the hardworking staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Margaret Anne.

The haddock at this restaurant was freshly cooked and delicious, served with homemade chips, peas, and tartare sauce. It was a fantastic value for the quality of the meal. Margaret and Ian provided exceptional service to our large party, making us feel very welcome. We are considering spending a weekend at the hotel. Thank you to Margaret and Ian for their great service.
We called in for an early evening snack and drink and the staff at the Comrie looked after us well. Food and service were spot-on.
We booked a meal having found on the hotel website that there was a childrens' menu. When we arrived at our booked time we were immediately informed that there was no childrens' menu and that they were under pressure because of a large group who...had just arrived without a booking. We eventually were served almost an hour after our arrival. The four adults in our family were very happy with the food that we received. However the two young boys were left hungry as they were unable to eat the burgers which they did not want but were the only items on the menu that they might possibly have liked. After the meal we were told that because of a local event the menu had been changed. However the hotel website still included a childrens' menu which did not exist. If we had known this we would not have booked at all. The waitress was very pleasant and apologetic, but she should not been placed in such a position. A hotel must surely realise that if they choose to advertise on line they must provide accurate information or risk reviews like this.
