Description

Café Nero in Perth High Street offers a mixed experience for visitors. While many patrons rave about the high-quality coffee and friendly, attentive staff, concerns have been raised about the café's cleanliness and atmosphere. Complaints include the lack of a dog-friendly policy, diminishing cake portion sizes, and poorly maintained dining areas, particularly upstairs. Some describe the ambiance as dark and in need of upkeep. Despite these issues, the café remains a popular choice, with regulars appreciating the consistent quality and inviting service. Overall, it’s a place for good coffee, but improvements in hygiene and ambience are necessary for an optimal experience.

I was disappointed to find out that this branch of the restaurant does not allow dogs, unlike all the other branches I have visited. We were given the option to sit outside, but there were no spare chairs available. Despite there being an empty table outside, we were told that we couldn't bring a chair out. I found this to be very inflexible. I didn't spend £15 to sit on a park bench!

Popped in for a Cappuccino and a tray bake and took an outdoor seat . Nice coffee ,pleasant sitting out on a mild Friday morning . The High Street is very quiet so not a lot of people watching today .Staff are well trained and friendly all precautions are being taken

I always enjoy the great coffee and pleasant atmosphere at Cafe Nero. The restaurant took proper Covid precautions, making us feel safe during our visit.

The cafe itself looks like it could do with a deep clean and the smell of cooked milk isn’t something I have experienced in any other coffee chain. Staff seem distracted chatting and sorr6 but I can’t recommend it.
