Carvel - Perth Amboy

I frequently order from this restaurant. On Wednesdays, they have a buy one get one free offer on sundaes, so I usually know how much my regular order costs. However, during my last visit, I was charged more than usual because the sundae cups (which were the same size as the regular cups) were priced higher than I had ever seen on a buy one get one free deal before. The cashier argued with me when I asked for an explanation, as I couldn't provide the name of the person who had told me the regular cup price. It seemed like they were trying to take advantage of customers by misleading them with false advertising, making them think they were getting a good deal when in reality they were just paying a dollar more for a free ice cream on particular days. Essentially, the price of the same order on any other day was suddenly increased by a few dollars on buy one get one free days, even though you technically received a free ice cream.

The ice cream is fantastic and the owners are great. I just wish the place was larger because it gets really busy due to its popularity. But I guess that's a good sign!

Whenever I have the opportunity, I always make sure to visit this restaurant with my family for a special treat.
