Freshly made sandwiches. Soups available. Delightful choice of teas served in a pot, and tasty desserts if you still have room Friendly, attentive service. It is like a family dropping in for lunch. Friendly banter sometimes. Always welcoming. Great, friendly, capable staff. View all feedback.
What Alexandra Henriques doesn't like about Grandma's Lunch Box:
Not the place that would make me come back on regular basis. But have no quams coming back for a quick sandwich or soup.Food is good in an average way. Cost for Perth is reasonable. Always consistent in food quality and service.Inside is small. Not to my taste but no impact on my ability to eat and enjoy my meal. Nothing bad to say. I work 1 block away and have eaten here 8 times in 10 years! Enough said! View all feedback.
I would give Jack Astor's 3 1/2 stars if I could. It has been a casual spot for us to hang out at for a while now.
Upon arrival, we added our name to the waiting list and were informed of a 20-minute wait.
Jack's is consistently enjoyable with their intriguing menu that features unique "Jack Astor" dishes. My friends tried the Chicken Fingers and
This quaint little restaurant has been around a long time in Perth. The restaurant is a bit hidden just slightly off the main street. They provide soup and sandwiches, at a good value for the average person. Service is friendly.
We dropped in for breakfast for the first time, my wife having been there for lunch once before. We were greeted by a very pleasant server & served coffee right away. Upon ordering the usual eggs, meat, etc., we were advised by the server that each meal is cooked individually in a skillet versus the usual 'big flat grill', & that it would take a few minutes longer. It wasn't 'that' much longer, & the results were excellent. NOT greasy at all, & the eggs were cooked perfectly. The server was attentive & our coffee cups never empty. Overall, excellent & we'll be back. Bonus was the price! (Picture posted)
