Trash in the room. Dirty bathtub. You could write your name so thick on the edges of the carpet. Even if the room was so dirty, they asked you to leave a TIP for the house personnel. No! View all feedback.
We encourage everyone traveling in the area to stop by and meet a staff that goes above and beyond to cater to the needs of weary travelers! They provided us with a non-smoking room featuring a king-size bed, all without a prior reservation. They even secured us a ground floor room where we could easily see our truck and trailer through the window, and had an outdoor outlet available for plugging in our freezer, no questions asked! Their willingness to accommodate all of our requests was truly impressive. Plus, we enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast and a simple checkout process—all for just $80. Thank you! Mississippi's Dupre's has made its way to Minnesota!
Upon arrival, the friendly and tidy staff welcomed me, and the beds were quite comfortable. Given the price, you shouldn't expect anything more. While it's not a five-star hotel, I would give it a five-star rating for a two-star establishment. The breakfast met the usual standards for this type of hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
The bed was solid and quite comfortable, and the pillows were nice and soft. While the bedding was adequate, I would have preferred a comforter instead of a lightweight coverlet. The AC/Heat unit was a bit noisy, and since the evening was cooler, it turned on a few times, which disturbed my sleep. Breakfast was basic with a limited selection, but I appreciate any hotel that offers it. This brings me to my main point: Deceptive Listing. Contrary to what was advertised, there was no heated pool or hot tub at this hotel. I approached the reception staff and pointed out the amenities listed on TripAdvisor. Instead of addressing the mistake, they claimed to have tried to fix it but blamed TripAdvisor for not updating the information. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the error, and no offer to make my stay more pleasant despite the lack of promised amenities. The absence of any customer service here was disappointing. On a positive note, I reached out to TripAdvisor, and they responded promptly, correcting the listing so that future travelers would have accurate information. As a customer, I rely on truthful information about services and products, and it's incredibly irresponsible for a company to not ensure this accuracy. Overall, Super 8 falls short in this aspect, raising concerns about their trustworthiness.

We've stayed at the Super 8 twice, a year apart, and both times had an excellent experience. Comfortable beds, and the whole property was exceptionally clean. I don't know if other Super 8s are typically up to this level of quality, but the Perryville location is great.
