When we arrived, we waited several minutes with no one at the counter to assist us. When I asked for a cup of ice, I wasn’t told that it would cost the same as a soda. To make matters worse, the employee who helped me had just come from the restroom, which she had left unflushed, leaving me to wonder if she had washed her hands. In the end, I decided to throw the food away.
I hadn't been to KFC in years because of a past experience with undercooked chicken, but I decided to try it again tonight. I must say, it was the best chicken sandwich I've had in Perry! As someone who works in the food service industry, I was truly impressed. Great job, KFC team! Keep up the fantastic work!
I arrived at the restaurant at 8:45 PM, hoping to get a quick snack like a 6-piece chicken strip or a chicken sandwich to take with us on the road. However, I was told they were running low on stock and only had an 8-piece extra crispy chicken available, priced at over $25. We chose to cancel our order and wait instead. It was quite disappointing, especially with more than two hours still before closing. They didn’t appear to be well stocked or prepared.
I ordered the chicken strip meal along with some sides for my kids, but unfortunately, the chicken strips had a strange, almost metallic taste. After my husband took a bite, we suspected the food was old, which explained the unusual flavor. We decided to give it another try since my kids love the mac and cheese, and my daughter ordered the chicken strips again. This time, however, the strips were hard and dry, making them inedible for her. I've decided not to order chicken from there again. On a positive note, the customer service was good, as it usually is. I recommend checking to ensure your order is fresh before leaving, as it's disappointing to pay for food you can't enjoy.
