My husband enjoyed the seafood chowder, while I had the tuna salad plate. The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous portion sizes, and it was all very delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we appreciated that the music wasn't too loud like in many places. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience and we will definitely be returning!

The food was delicious, and the service was quick. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes of our meals considering the reasonable prices. We definitely got more than our money's worth. If you're passing through, I highly recommend the New Friendly Restaurant!

The experience would have been better, even with the 30+ minute wait (10+ before we were even spoken to by staff... to be seated IF my Mom's $32 meal didn't com... read more The experience would have been better, even with the 30+ minute wait (10+ before we were even spoken to by staff... to be seated IF my Mom's $32 meal didn't come out burnt!! My Fiancée didn't come out all that good either!! Mine? Well mine was haddock and it was delicious!! But that still doesn't help the other 2 meals or the big bill we'd be more willing to pay if ALL the food came out so good!! We didn't complain, because they were busy and didn't want to wait another 45 mins for a new meal... The waitress we had, I do have to say, was fabulous!! She was great and a busy as they were, she stay very pleasant and polite!All in all.... will we go back? Sorry to say..... Probably not for awhile, if at all. Maybe we might try a call ahead meal, pick up, and bring home (after checking it ?
