very well worth the visit. we were on the first day of opening to covid. the eating is excellent, the personal attentive and friendly and brilliant sea view, including gannets dive for fish just a few meters away. we will be coming back View all feedback.
What אביעד הינדס doesn't like about Le Manoir du Sphinx:
update: we returned in May 2018, looked at the menu before the hôtel and were very disappointed. there was no lobster appetizer or filet mignon (beef). we did not make a reservation. the hôtel was taken over by logis, so they either have a new cook, or they are cut corners. because we don't really have gedint there, I can't give a review of the new menu. I'm sure it's as wonderful as ever! View all feedback.
Whilst we did not actually sample the restaurant, we stayed for one night in the hotel. We had turned up without a reservation and were lucky to be offered the last available room. This was a small but delightful room on the second floor with...a superb view out of windows on 2 sides of the room and a small terrace on which we had breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay in North Brittany.

The restaurant has absolutely excellent prospects of all the tables that are worth visiting only for themselves. eating is unfortunately just okay, and the wine list is a little thin. the service is mixed, the maitre d is good, but the service of the...other young staff is not yet professional.

We ate both evenings in the hotel restaurant and lubricated their two menus. every time we enjoyed all dishes, scallops fish or meat do not forget the beautiful desserts. were generous and what is in the offer is more different than its typical French restaurant. for example, the scallops were served in their dishes with hazelnut on the top, the foie grass was like a dome and covered with blood orange jeelly and the sweetbreads (I would have had a little more of it) were served with shiitake mushrooms and jerusal artichokes. there are many weeps that choose in their weeping list, but they don't come cheap and the cotes du rhone that we had was just that. in comparison to the Provence red we had the second evening was much better quality. if they add that the fact that the restaurant has a fantastic view of the sea and the coast, this is a definitiw to try a place.
