Contribute Feedback What Danielle Borer doesn't like about El Platano Macho Pupuseria:
Eat was ok, they are stingy with small things like creamer, curtido, we order 5 drinks that were not cold and only 2 cops with ice, platano plate comes without cream, we salvys need cream or at least say it does not come with cream, they need to bor and order cream separately. the customer service has to be more step forward here. Over priced pupusas that are not authentic. Ingredients used are not how real pupusas are made. If you don't know what a real authentic pupusa tastes like, then I guess this will do but these don't compare to the ones my grandma used to make. I ordered revueltas, different type of cheese was used, it was chewy. Chicharon was more of a meat paste vs real chicharon molido AND most importantly and noticeable they used pinto beans, not red or black beans that are mostly used in Central American countries. These were more like Mexican version of pupusas. Not the best, sorry guys!
The food was excellent and I highly recommend it. The restaurant was very clean and had great customer service.
I tried three Wet Burritos while passing through Perris - a must-have!
The service at this restaurant was friendly and personal, but be prepared to wait a while to receive your food, as Salvadoran cuisine typically takes longer to prepare. Unfortunately, many of the combo options were not available during my visit.
