View all feedback.
What Julien Carlier doesn't like about Brasserie la Rotonde:
we thought here as a coffee croissant that were just okay, but the opposite person / the washer propped opened the outside door halfway and began smoking a cigarette. unfortunately the smoke drove back to the restaurant that ruined our unfinished breakfast. the restaurant itself is moist, dark and. roughened around the edges. we ended up in the la roma cafe, which is bright and cheerful and again on excellent coffee... At our recent visit to perpignan we had lunch here on an unusually wet Saturday afternoon in the juli. from our greeting about entering the restaurant 2 hours later, it was excellent. the pleasant waitress has patiently explained the menu to the best of her ability... I had gambas and calamaria a la planxa and it was beautifully presented and tasted just as well. The burger is huge, but really delicious with many extras... children's menu very considerable and good value. house wine was delicious. all in all, worth and really high standard of food. it is listed as caffe, but eating was restaurant standard ..
Yesterday invited us a friend to coffee and pancake in la rotonde. first class coffee and delicious pancakes, complete with the sweetest little gadget to squeeze the lemon. friendly service. only snore: too hot to sit inside and almost zero shadow outside. they need sunshades!
A simple and not too busy walk from the train station in Nice-Ville, from the train to the right, then via the road and a few roads to the left is rue berlioz, which then changes name to rue rivoli, about...15 minutes to the hotel negresso. plat du jour was at 19,50 euro or 23,50 euro (including dessert) very reasonable it is a set court for every day of the week, add a 1/2 bottle decent white wine for 19.00 euro and they have a very nice lunch in a 5* hotel. the service was as expected, a pleasant afternoon on a cloudy, rainy day in nizza.

Ermergherrrrrd I cannot over exaggerate on how wonderful the Irish coffee was at this place. I think I had 3 over the space of 5 or 6 days. Delicious!!! Also!! We did have a meal once as well, the escargot were a little disappointing and...gritty, apart from that everything else (charcuterie board, steak, salmon, vegetables etc) was delicious. But above all... get an Irish coffee
