However please don’t be influenced by this, as i... read more Let’s start with the positives, location is very central to the square and has a nice view of the local church. However please don’t be influenced by this, as i will describe later the service left much to be desired we arrived here as a member of our family is a fussy eater and wanted pizza at the start there were no outstanding issues and it was relatively relaxing the waitress came over and took our order and we got some drinks but after about 45 minutes with no food we started to wonder if they had put our order i to the kitchen but due to the lack of staff we struggled to ask anyone 15 minutes rolled by and finally the food arrived in total 1 hour for 4 pizzas that were nothing to write home about. The service and the staff were all over the place as we described it a complete shambles, there was one person we presumed to be the owner who was behind the bar shouting at the 2 staff and telling them what to do and when to do it not letting them run their own tables, as well as that they were very under staffed with 1 chef and 2 waiters causing there to be no one cleaning tables leaving a complete mess attracting flies and wasps, the plates and glasses that were brought back inside were just placed on the bar or put in piles on the floor. This is certainly not hygienic and does not really show to the costumers that the staff Care on the whole I would rate this place 2/10 at max.

Le Central provides standard French bistro meals at a reasonable price. It is easy to find (right on the main square) and is considerably cheaper than some of the competition just round the corner.

So we stayed in BW St Claude... read more Due to malfunction of the campervan we arrived in the little village Peronne, important in the Great War as we learned afterwards. So we stayed in BW St Claude and around the corner is Brasserie Central. My advice : GO! Good food, good service and you can sit inside as well outside. When the bill arrives your wallet will smile
